 Just some long overdue (that's an understatement!) pics from our trip to Austin back in October. That's right, October. I really need to move this blog over to wordpress. Hmm...perhaps this weekend. Ugh.

sf/napa weekend

These were from the SF trip I went on last month to visit some friends. We went out to St. Helena, Napa, which was a lot farther than we'd anticipated. We only got to do one winery--Castello di Amorosa. They have a lovely replica of a medieval Italian castle, which was pretty impressive in terms of all the detail that went into everything. 

It's funny how I never get tired of San Francisco. I guess the song is right...

the other borough

I have been to New York City several times in my life, but for some strange reason, I've never ventured out into Brooklyn until this recent trip. I stayed in Park Slope with a good friend of mine from high school. It was great to just reminisce and spend a low-key weekend before hitting the frenzy that was Manhattan during NYC Fashion Week.
