dinner and dessert

For date night, we decided to indulge in some old-school guilty pleasures.We tried two places we had never been to near our neighborhood:

Buon Gusto Ristorante -a charming little hole-in-the-wall place that uses pizza dough shipped from New York. The verdict is...we love it! Nothing like a classic pizza. The rest of their Italian menu looks pretty promising as well, so we will definitely be back.
(Oh, and they played "That's Amore" by Dean Martin while we were eating our pizza. Couldn't have been more corny...but we loved it anyway)
Neilsen's Frozen Custard - I have been meaning to try frozen custard forever, and it definitely lives up to all the hype. The kitschy retro decor and all the old ice cream-related relics made it even better. I'm a total sucker for places like this.
