I have been to New York City several times in my life, but for some strange reason, I've never ventured out into Brooklyn until this recent trip. I stayed in Park Slope with a good friend of mine from high school. It was great to just reminisce and spend a low-key weekend before hitting the frenzy that was Manhattan during NYC Fashion Week.

More from the concrete jungle. Is it just me, or is New York City a lot more appealing/gritty when shot in black and white?

On another note...is it bad that I'm over this week already and it's only Monday? I guess I have a case of the Mondays..haha. God I need a vacation. Either that or I need to take a crash course in stressing less and enjoying life more. Probably the latter.

I took a little photowalk around the Flatiron District since I brought my camera with me on this recent trip. I'm really glad I decided to...I love taking walks alone with my cameras. It's my way of relaxing I suppose.

Some quick phone pics: brgr- one of my faves, rainy NYC, Empire State Building in the fog, Ellie Goulding at Lucky FABB...all in all a good trip to the Big Apple (minus the rain and wind).

Just got back from a whirlwind work trip to NYC and I'm not sure what I'm doing still awake since it's almost 3am in my brain right now...I guess my internal clock is die-hard West Coast ;)

Well, I should really be attempting to finish some laundry...and perhaps catch some shuteye...I think I prefer the latter. Hope everyone has a good weekend!
