sf/napa weekend

These were from the SF trip I went on last month to visit some friends. We went out to St. Helena, Napa, which was a lot farther than we'd anticipated. We only got to do one winery--Castello di Amorosa. They have a lovely replica of a medieval Italian castle, which was pretty impressive in terms of all the detail that went into everything. 

It's funny how I never get tired of San Francisco. I guess the song is right...

It was so nice to get away for my birthday this year. I love heading out to Malibu to just get away from it all. You definitely can't keep me from the beach for too long. Just looking at these photos are giving me withdrawals. One day...

Just wanted to post some film photos from our Santa Cruz-Monterey trip last month. It's so gorgeous up there. I wish we had more time to explore it.

Sorry for the lack of recent posts. Things have been a little busy as usual. I'm heading to LA and then Louisville at the end of the month for Derby... It should be very interesting since it's my first time.

I'm excited for baseball season starting up and we're planning to see our Dodgers sometime in July hopefully. We are off to a good start so far ;).

santa cruz-monterey pt. 1

We went for a quick trip to Santa Cruz this week and drove down to Monterey. I love the central coast and even discovered a new favorite beach! Yay!

quick getaways

These were taken from our quick overnight trip to San Diego. My husband and I just needed to get away, just the two of us, because we've been so busy and haven't gone out of town alone since the summer. It was definitely a welcome break. I'm leaving for Costa Rica in a week, so things are going to be a little hectic for awhile. Yikes. Here goes...2012 off to an interesting start.

outside lands '11

Sorry for the lack of posts, last week was a little nuts, and it doesn't look like it'll slow down anytime soon.

These were taken (w/ the Vignette app on Android) from Friday's Outside Lands. They wouldn't let any cameras with detachable lenses in the show, so phone pics it was! I think I would have broken my camera had I brought it anyway.

My phone died halfway through the day, so I missed some of the more memorable parts...like the Shins. Their show was so, so amazing. They've always been up there in my favorite bands list, but I'd never seen them live until that day. Needless to say I was on cloud 9.

Will try to post more photos from my weekend trip to SF, I managed to finish one 35mm roll, should be back from the lab in a few days. G'nite for now! Hope everyone has a great weekend!
